Adsense plus Adwords

Adwords and Adsense are the two sides of the same coin that is earning Google the money that it has been earning from its advertisers. While Adsense is for the web publishers to reap some reward for the content they put on their website by letting the visitors click on the ads, Adwords is the basic platform that lets the advertisers pay Google for displaying their ads.

In a way, on both sides of the coin are the same people - the webmasters. While one clan pay Google to show ads, the others get money for displaying those ads for visitors. Now, what if you displayed your own ad so that people visit your website and click on your ads? You spend some money for the visitors and they compensate you by clicking ads that they are genuinely interested in.

Before I talk any further, let me warn you that this is not something innovative.Thousands of publishers are already doing this,and since this makes way for publishers to get a little excited, there have been many cases when they have been banned for several reasons

Also, while I am talking on this subject, I am not actually suggesting you to create an MFA(Made for Adsense) site. The only suggestion is spend 5 cents for getting a visitor, and display ads to him that earn you 10 cents. That way you lose 5 cents in advertising. But then, you wouldnt have earned that extra 5 cents if not for that visitor.

However, this technique is not entirely foolproof. Google has come out with Smart-pricing techniques that can dent your profit margins. Also, this technique is not feasible if you already have a good enough traffic. This technique is however a great way to test your ad placements and website quality as a newbie. You shall end up not making a huge profit. Maybe you end up making $110 dollars for $100 that you spent. But, let me tell you that if you did this as a newbie, then by the time you ended up doing this, you would have learnt a lot of lessons regarding using Adsense to the maximum potential possible.For example, during the time you carried out this exercise, you would have learnt what topics work and what don't. What ad formats work and what don't, what keywords work and what keywords don't, etc. These are some of the biggest lessons to kickstart your money making from your website. Once you learn these lessons, the only factor that remains is adding content and more content to your website and build genuie traffic.
