Blog - Why everyone has one

Blog is driving everyone to love it.. Believe me, its only on a blog that you can put up the human face of the organization, show it is not run by robots, and best of all interact with your customers.

That is why most of the big names have one. Google has Blogger, Ebay has typepad, etc. This gives them access to know in person what the issues are, put up notices of maintenance shutdown etc, which are regular minor glitches, but then could cause potential loss to some of your customers.

Most other big time webmasters, though blg is not their prime forte still have a section of blog on their website. Call it a modern craze, but I wish to believe that there is no other way to interact more lively and get heard than on a blog.
