Got your own product to sell?
Like in any other industry, the world of websites also has two class of people, the masters and the servants. While the masters pay their servants to do the job for them, they happily rejoice on their one time elevation to masterhood while the servant chooses to do work all the time to earn his pay.
This analogy is not too far-fetched. Look around the web and you will find only two kinds of products; websites selling their product or website selling product for others. Or in the world of affiliate marketing, either affiliate websites or websites that pay the affiliate websites.
While building an affiliate website is very easy, in the sense that you only need to be promoting something that you never even used personally. Or worse are the 'Get paid for clicking ads' and 'Get paid for reading email' kinds of affiliates. While you spend the time earning in one and two cents, there are people who make a one time effort in building a website that pays others for doing the same.
Think of something that you can sell. Can you write an ebook? Or better, is there something in your locality that you get cheap but is costly elsewhere. Whatever it may be, furniture, clay articles, or whatever. You only need to find a product. Write a little about them. Put a few pictures of what you are about to sell. There are quite a few websites like this which help you to make online transactions from your websites using checks even if the visitor has not got a credit card.
It only requires a few days or week of work. Once this is done, you can start making money from selling that product. You can contact your local manufacturer to sell them to you at a rebate since you are likely to sell a lot of them. Put it at a competitive price on your website and here you go.
Now, the final step in the process is to sign up at Commission Junction or ShareASale website for affiliateship. Now, by paying a small fraction of your profits to the affiliates who generate sale for you, the only work you need to carry on from here is to count the bucks flowing in!
