When Adsense first came on the scene, it was a rage among people who thought they too can have a huge share of the pie by making websites on High Paying Keywords, so that even a click on those websites can earn them as high as $100.

One of the most popular themes of the time was Mesothelioma, or asbestos cancer. At that time, lawyers looking for high profile cases paid such huge click amounts in the hope that even if they could catch one Asbestos cancer victims, they can make up for the high amount they spend on advertising on Adsense. As this information spread, almost everyone of these get-rich-quick Adsense publishers made a website for Asbestos Cancer. Now, this term has been started to be used for any website that is being made for the Adsense ad clicks.

Though the high paying keyword theme has now died down due to smartpricing, till date, numerous websites are preying new webmasters into providing Adsense ready websites for such high paying keywords. Hence this term too has come to stay, so that Asbestos Adsense still means MFAs.
