Contacting Google regarding Adsense

There are three kinds of Adsense publishers. One, who have been doing all things honest, and are never worried about a ban. Second, those who either fear they are being targetted by their competitors to lose their account or have themselves been doing something that gets them to be apprehensive about losing their account. And third, those who have already lost their account deservingly or otherwise.

Whatever the case may be, there is one avenue that you should approach for anything you need. And that is the Google Adsense team. Though the Terms of Service are very well mentioned in the Google Adsense page, there always exist confusions regarding certain words or phrases.

If you feel you have worded your page in such a way to attract undue attention to Adsense, then the first thing you need to do is contact the Adsense team and check with them, if they are okay with your webpage. Do not forget to keep such mails safe in your folder so that you may always reproduce them, in case you are banned later.

While contacting Google, remember to remember the following points

* Do not simply point to the webpage and ask for their approval. There is nothing hideous about this. Focus your question to that particular part of the page where you feel you are asking for trouble. The Adsense team will then be able to suggest if the particular portion is legitimate.

* Mail your queries from the email account that you use to access Adsense from. This will not only help you get an immediate response relatively, but also help the Adsense team in knowing who is asking the question is. That way, even if you are banned, the Adsense team will know that it was indeed you who asked the question and who they cleared.

* If the Adsense team disapproves your point, dont simply stop with modifying the page. Get their approval the next time as well.

* If you are already banned by Google and believe you are innocent, do mail them your concerns. Do try to give them as much proof, if possible that it was not you. Get your logs and try detecting the possible culprit. If you have had a long Adsense history, do make that point as well. Remember Google requires you for Adsense as much as you require them. So, if youhave had a clean history, it is possible that they give you a second life.

* Never think you are smart enough by reapplying using different mailing addresses and accounts. Google has enough resources to find out it is you, and often penalizes you the second time(even if you were sincere in the second try) only during the payout time. It is better for you to look at other options than to be sticking with Adsense, where you could be penalized again
