If you are a doctor and still not into Adsense and Adwords, be known that Google does not let Adwords for all medicine related websites.

You need to hold a valid medical practitioner's certificate for USA.But, I have heard that you can personally talk to Google or email them about what your website is and if it is at all a non-serious issue, Google will permit you with your website.

However, you can have Adsense on your website. You would have heard of sometime back when every Tom Dick and Harry had a site for Mesothelioma since it was the highest paying keyword then.
