Getting honest with Adsense

The high payout amount of $100 for Adsense is quite understandable. It is because of this that Google has enough time to catch the culprits who make an illegal approach to making Adsense money. So, as a publisher, it becomes very important for you to not only make money, but also make money legally. Because, one wrong move at an amount as high as $99 can ban you and make all the effort go in vain.

So, here are a few things that you should do to remain within the framework for the other programs that you may join incase, you choose to move away from Google after the ban.

The first thing is to read and reread the Terms and Conditions. Understand every clause of it so that your site remains within the ToS. If doubtful on any rule with respect to your site, always mail the support team to clarify very specifically to your content. Do not forget to keep these mails safe in your inbox so that you may get back to them in case your site is blacklisted anytime later.

The second thing is going through public discussion forums. This helps you in keeping yourself upto date in the policies,so that you dont cross the red line again. But know the limits of the public forums. It might also happen that sometimes what is being said is actually a violation of the rule. In such cases, it is better to clarify from the support team or use your own discretion to decide if this can be permissible. Never make an illegal move, just because another person was not penalized for it. Remember that you had not been always lucky.

Finally, make sure that you implement these rules in each and every page that you make or update. This is because the approval you obtained may be valid only for that particular unchanged webpage and not be applicable to the newer ones. Carelessness here would always lead you to where you dont want to be.
