Will Adsense last forever?

Irrespective of the numerous money making opportunities that is availabe on the internet, a majority of the webmasters are predominantly dependent on Adsense for making money on the internet. This is particularly worrying if you are a fulltime webmaster who would be pennyless if only Adsense were to shut the doors on you.

For a moment, assuming that you do not get banned, think about the question, will Adsense last forever. This is no matter a really weird question. This is because there was no Google till a decade back. And no thing such as internet till a couple of decades back.

So, predicting the future is pretty meaningless. But one thing can be said quite confidently. With increasing number of people taking up the internet as a money making opportunity, the avenues to make money on the internet shall always keep increasing.

Till four or five years back, banners were quite popular among webmasters. But now research shows that internet visitors have become banner-blind. In the sense that there are actually few who actually read into what is given on a banner. And this is the reason why Adsense is quite popular. This is because, text links are today considered to be more often visited.

But, then a few more years down the lane, this could also become a futile ad expense. This is when another advertising mode may take effect. Until such a time, Adsense is definitely going to make a few more of us richer!
